For the better half of 2021, I had the pleasure of supporting We First and NYT-Bestselling author Simon Mainwaring in the lead-up to the launch of his new book, Lead With We. Not to brag, but the book came out on 11/9, and we had already made the Barnes & Noble Bestseller list by 11/10!
Lead With We: The Business Revolution That Will Save Our Future provides an urgent but optimistic roadmap for how business solves today’s most pressing issues even while driving growth. The book ranked #3 on the Wall Street Journal's Bestselling Book list.
Of course, you can purchase your own copy ("Michelle Elyse Ambrosio" is eternalized in the acknowledgments) or check out endorsements from early readers – top CEOs, academics, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders – already posted on Amazon or the Lead With We book site.
For some context on Simon as a thought-leader and writer, here is a special episode of the Lead With We podcast I worked on where Simon gets interviewed about the book. Some other highlights from my time as content manager: here is a favorite article from Simon's Purpose at Work Forbes column - I had previously worked with the CEO of sk*p when he launched his first brand, Farmacy, a rising star winner during my time at FGI. This is an article that gives the dairy industry a must-needed lens change and this is a really interesting article on the future of farming.
As the world prepared to quarantine during the global pandemic of March 2020, I joined a national human resources firm to remotely lead their marketing efforts. The department I led was responsible for redefining the brand, producing a new brand aesthetic, identity, style guide, content structure, and website.
I worked closely with our business development team to reformat and streamline sales initiatives, introducing an inbound automation software and creating effective collateral.
